How MyStudentHealthHub works

MyStudentHealthHub replaces paper packets and email attachments with a simple, secure upload flow for parents and a central dashboard for school nurses. Here’s what the experience looks like from both sides.

For parents

A quick, guided upload in four steps

Parents don’t need an account or login. They just tap the school’s link from your website, email, or Blackbaud parent experience.

    Open the secure upload link for your school (for example: Parent upload portal on your website or inside Blackbaud).
  2. 2
    Enter the student’s basic info: first and last name, date of birth, grade, and campus.
  3. 3
    Upload required documents (immunization records, physical forms, or other medical paperwork) as PDFs or images, right from their phone or computer.
  4. 4
    Submit the form and receive an on-screen confirmation that the files were successfully uploaded to the school’s secure inbox.

No printing, no scanning at the office, and no emailing sensitive medical information.

Parents can save the Parent upload portal to their home screen so it feels like a dedicated app for your school.

On an iPhone (Safari):

  1. Open your school’s MyStudentHealthHub link in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share icon Share icon
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. If you don’t see it, tap the three dots labeled “More”.
  4. Optionally rename it (for example, “PRCA Health Forms”).
  5. Tap Add. You’ll now see an icon on your home screen that opens directly to the portal.

This makes MyStudentHealthHub feel like a real app—easy access without installing anything from the App Store.

On Android devices, parents can use Chrome’s Add to Home screen option in the browser menu for a similar experience.
